Accessibility Statement

This statement applies to cellcomply.co.uk, operated by CellComply Ltd. We want everyone who needs battery and vape waste compliance information to be able to use this site, whatever technology they browse with.

CellComply Ltd is not a public sector body, so the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to us. We publish this statement voluntarily and hold the site to the same target those regulations use: the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What Is in Place

• Pages are built with semantic HTML: proper landmarks, a logical heading structure and a "skip to main content" link on every page.
• The site is fully navigable by keyboard, including the mobile menu, which uses standard disclosure buttons that report their expanded state to assistive technology.
• Text can be resized and the layout reflows for small screens and zoomed browsers without losing content or function.
• Images carry alternative text, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Animations and transitions respect the "reduced motion" preference in your operating system.
• Forms have visible labels, and submission feedback is shown on the page rather than only by colour or redirect.
• Colour contrast is checked against the navy, teal and white palette used throughout the site.

Known Limitations

• The certificate PDFs on our licences and accreditations page are reproductions of issued certificates and are not tagged for screen readers. All of the information they contain (registration numbers, dates and issuing bodies) is published as text on that page, and we will provide any document in an accessible format on request.
• Some illustrative imagery is decorative product artwork. We keep meaningful information out of images, but if you find a page where an image carries information the text does not, please tell us.
• Enquiry forms are processed by a third-party service (Formspree). The forms themselves are part of this site and meet our standards, but we do not control that service's internal processing.

How This Statement Is Maintained

This statement was prepared on 12 June 2026 based on our own evaluation of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA. It is reviewed whenever the site changes substantially, and any issue reported to us is added to the known limitations above until it is fixed.
