How Working With CellComply Works
Six steps from first enquiry to audit-ready evidence. We are a registered upper tier waste broker, which means we arrange and document everything while vetted ADR-compliant partners handle the physical collection. Here is exactly what happens, and who does what.
From Enquiry to Evidence
The same journey applies whether you run one vape shop or a multi-site estate. Only the scale changes.
Enquiry
Tell us what batteries or vapes you handle, your sites and rough volumes through the contact form. We reply within one working day.
The 15-minute compliance call
A short call to confirm fit before anything else: what you sell or handle, where waste accumulates and which duties are likely in play. No obligation and no jargon.
Duty check and fixed quote
We document which rules apply to your operation, where the gaps are, and quote a fixed scope. You see the whole cost before you commit.
Setup and delivery
Bins arrive labelled and ready, with staff guidance for safe segregation. Where the setup pack applies, your notices, SOPs, logs and storage checks are delivered inside a typical two-week window.
Arranged collection
When a container fills, we arrange the uplift through an ADR-compliant carrier partner vetted against our published 12-point standard. We arrange and document; the partner drives.
Evidence, records and review
Every movement comes back to you as a hazardous waste consignment note with weight data, filed so it is ready for an audit. An annual review keeps the whole setup current.
Who Does What
The law splits responsibility between the waste producer, the broker and the carrier. Knowing the split is half the compliance battle, so we put it in writing.
You
- Tell us your sites, products and rough volumes
- Put returned devices in the bins we supply
- Keep the bins away from heat and combustibles
- Hand the sealed container to the carrier at collection
CellComply
- Check your duties and document what applies
- Supply the bins, signage and staff guidance
- Arrange and document every collection
- Keep your evidence trail consistent and audit-ready
Carrier partner
- Physically collects under ADR Class 9 rules
- Raises the hazardous waste consignment note
- Delivers only to approved treatment facilities (AATFs)
- Passes weight data and treatment evidence back
Every carrier partner is vetted against the 12-point standard published on our licences and accreditations page before they collect for any client.
