Scope and asset list
Send us your asset list as a CSV, a spreadsheet or photos, or your best guess at one. We return an indicative open-book quote with the expected rebate within 24 hours, then agree erasure or destruction per asset class, collection windows and site access.
Tracked collection
Your kit is packed and collected on the agreed date and travels to the processing facility as a tracked load, so the chain of custody starts at your door, not at the weighbridge.
Serial-number capture on receipt
Every asset is logged on arrival at the facility, serial by serial. What arrived is matched against what left your building, so nothing goes missing in between.
Certified erasure or physical destruction
Your choice, per your policy: certified erasure software with per-drive verification, or physical destruction by shredding and crushing. Any drive that fails erasure verification is destroyed. Some organisations mandate destroy-and-recycle for every drive, and we support that.
Resale across four routes
Premium kit is refurbished and resold. Volume kit is refurbished into public-sector buyers such as NHS trusts, schools and universities. Export-grade working kit finds overseas buyers. Machines with no resale value are parts-harvested down to component level.

Disposal That Pays You Back
Most IT disposal quietly throws value away. Ours runs open book, as a revenue share on remarketable kit: logistics and processing costs are agreed upfront, resale value is reported against your serial numbers, and the rebate is returned to you. On larger refreshes, including server and GPU hardware cycles, the rebate can cover the whole job, so disposal can end cost-neutral or cash-positive. We confirm the expected rebate against your asset list before anything moves, and the itemised statement at the end shows what was resold, recycled or destroyed, and for what.

A Chain of Custody Your DPO Can Sign Off
IT asset disposal is where data governance usually goes quiet: the asset register stops at the door and the kit disappears into a van. This process is built to survive scrutiny. The load is tracked from your site to the processing facility, every asset is logged on receipt against its serial number, and the certificates that come back are matched to the same serials, so your asset register closes cleanly.
Before anything moves, we will get on a call with your DPO or CISO and the processing team, walk through the chain of custody, and agree the method per asset class. Leased or financed kit can be erased with certificates so it goes back to the lessor clean, and anything under a retention policy or legal hold is flagged on the asset list and stays out of the run.
Certified erasure
Certified data erasure software overwrites every drive at our vetted, accredited partner facilities, verified drive by drive. Erased kit can be safely resold, which is where most of the rebate lives.
Failed verification means destruction
Any drive that does not verify clean is not resold. It is pulled from the reuse stream and physically destroyed instead.
Physical destruction
Drives are shredded, crushed and shredded again into fragments, then separated into material streams. A Certificate of Media Destruction is issued per drive.
Serial-matched reporting
Every certificate and every resale line ties back to a serial number on your asset report, so there are no orphan drives and no gaps in the file.

What is IT asset disposal (ITAD)?
IT asset disposal is the secure retirement of business IT equipment: laptops, servers, networking, storage and mobiles. Done properly it covers three things at once: certified data erasure or destruction of every drive, WEEE duty-of-care paperwork for the waste movement, and resale of working kit and components so recovered value comes back to you.
Erase or destroy: which should we choose?
Certified erasure keeps the drive and the machine intact, which preserves resale value and usually means a better rebate. Erasure runs on certified software at our vetted, accredited partner facilities and is verified per drive, and any drive that fails verification is physically destroyed rather than resold. If your policy mandates physical destruction, every drive is shredded and crushed and the machine can still be resold or parts-harvested without it. Most clients set the rule per asset class on the scoping call, for example erase laptops, destroy anything from finance.
What paperwork do we receive?
A destruction or erasure certificate for every drive, a serial-matched asset report covering everything collected, the WEEE duty-of-care paperwork for the movement including hazardous waste consignment notes where batteries and other hazardous streams are involved, and an itemised statement showing what was resold, recycled or destroyed. Filed so it is ready for an auditor, an insurer or a data protection review.
Do you buy equipment, and how do rebates work?
We do not make lowball upfront offers for your kit. The model is open book, a revenue share on remarketable kit: logistics and processing costs are agreed before anything moves, resale value is reported against your serial numbers, and the rebate is returned to you. On larger refreshes the rebate can cover the whole job, so disposal can end cost-neutral or cash-positive. Is there a minimum quantity?
No fixed minimum, but the rebate model earns its keep on volume. A handful of machines is usually better pooled into a periodic clearance or added to another scheduled collection. Send the list either way and we will tell you straight whether the numbers work.
What happens to kit with no resale value?
It is dismantled at the AATF and working components are harvested and resold, down to RAM-and-CPU level. What remains is separated into material streams, metals, circuit boards and plastics, and recycled under a zero-to-landfill approach. You still get the serial-matched record and WEEE evidence for every unit, whether it sold or not.
How are the batteries handled?
Every laptop, phone, tablet and UPS leaving your estate carries lithium cells, and they are handled under the same battery compliance discipline as everything else Cell Comply does: segregated on site or at the facility, moved as hazardous waste with consignment notes where required, and recycled at permitted facilities. Damaged or swollen batteries are escalated separately rather than travelling with the general load.
