- Waste Transfer Note (WTN) Duty of Care A waste transfer note (WTN) is the document that records the handover of non-hazardous waste from one party to another. It describes the waste, identifies the parties, and is the core evidence behind the waste duty of care.
- WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) WEEE WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment — any electrical or electronic product that has reached the end of its life. UK rules make producers, retailers and waste holders responsible for collecting, treating and recycling it.
- WEEE Category 7.1 WEEE WEEE category 7.1 is the UK WEEE classification used for vapes and e-cigarettes. It places single-use and rechargeable vapes within the electrical waste system rather than treating them as general or packaging waste.
